Why Consider Dermal Fillers?
When dermal fillers are a part of that plan, you can lift, smooth and plump your way to noticeable results that last! As one of West Michigan’s most-chosen practices* for dermal fillers, our patients trust us time and time and time again. Facial Fillers
As we mature, our skin loses its natural volume and gravity sets in. This often results in the development of lines, folds and skin laxity. Dermal fillers can be injected into areas of the face such as temples, cheeks and the jawline to replace lost volume for a refreshed and more youthful appearance. This is a non-surgical approach to facial rejuvenation.
Lip Fillers
Dermal fillers are commonly utilized in the lip area to improve volume augmenting the shape and size of the lips. They can also be used to improve hydration, soften the appearance of vertical lip lines and create symmetry.
Filler for the Eyes
Some patients struggle with a hollowed, dark appearance in the area under the eyes called tear troughs. This can make them feel that they look tired or aged. Dermal fillers can be used to refresh the under eyes by adding a subtle amount of volume for a softer, brighter tear-trough appearance.
Chin Fillers
While surgical chin augmentation procedures may offer more pronounced and long-term results, using dermal filler to shape the chin can be a fantastic alternative. It is injected into the soft tissue of the chin area to strengthen the appearance of a weak chin, and improve symmetry and chin protrusion.
Dermal Fillers for Non-Surgical Nose Job
Dermal fillers can be used to correct curves, bumps and lumps that affect the shape of the nose. It is a great non-surgical option for those who desire a cosmetic change to the look of the nose without the commitment to a permanent surgical result.
What to Expect with Dermal Filler Injections
During your initial visit, you will begin by meeting with our Facial Aesthetics Consultant first to discuss all the important details of your treatment. We will review your medical background and discuss your desired result. We will also cover the possible risks or complications, educate you about aftercare, and provide an estimate of cost. Upon scheduling, let us know if you’d like to proceed with treatment on the same day and we can reserve time for it.
Treatment is relatively easy and there is little to no downtime. You may return to your normal activities that day. Most patients would describe dermal filler injections as mildly uncomfortable. We do our best to create an environment that alleviates any pain that you may experience with numbing agents and other diversion techniques. You may find that you are slightly swollen, sore and possibly bruised for a day or two following your injections.

What if I don’t like the results with Restylane®?

It’s common for our providers to start with a smaller amount of dermal filler, and may even schedule a follow up appointment that could include a “touch up” treatment. Some patients find that they desire more Restylane® after their initial treatment. If you decide that filler isn’t for you, that’s okay. You can arrange to have it dissolved using another injectable treatment product.
